The 2014 MAAWS Eye Camp on September 3, 2014 was a HUGE success. With the help of physicians from Bangladesh Jatiya Andha Kalyan Samity (BJAKS):
-We were able to provide 381 patients with free general eye checkups, cataract diagnosis and eye operations.
-We also hosted a health education seminar prior to the camp and had 500 attendants.
-We saw patients from ages 4-95.
-The majority (62.7% ) of our eye camp patients were female.
-Patients came from 39 villages to receive free eye treatment.
